almost everything easy to use and follow \Major exception was there is no good explanation and mechanics of form F1116

Easily Filed and confirmed

Have been using Turbo Tax and It's Deductible for many years now, each year shows a marked improvement in ease of use and complete explanations of tax law. Importing information from previous year's forms makes re-typing unnecessary. Auto-adding previous charity information would be nice, just need to delete entire charity or edit information. Also, since so many casinos are located in NM, casino payer information should be available to auto-fill.
What's great about it: Easily filed, confirmed and printed
What's not so great: Not able to pay state tax using credit card, had to go to a separate site
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Several Years Running

I have used Turbo Tax several years running. I like the intuitive way it takes me through the process of entering and checking my information. I have used several other programs in the past, but have found TT to be the most useful and easiest to use for my situation.
What's great about it: Easy interface. Intuitive flow of process.
What's not so great: None

2015 Tax Return

This is a fabulous product to do a complicated tax return. There is no way a non-professional tax person could accomplish filing a return this difficult without this sophisticated software. It is also wonderful that TurboTax allows you to import a previous return and maintain the depreciation schedules for rental property. I highly support your tax program and will continue to buy it every year.
What's great about it: Superb Software

Pretty straight forward

Overall a great product, which is why I've had it for 3 straight years. This year it seemed a little more difficult to import documents. Every year I've had to hunt down what to put for varied state answers (BTW, it's XX). That should be a choice that's offered.
What's great about it: Drop down menu answers, import capabilities!!! Hopefully all the pertinent information needed
What's not so great: Some fields that require specific info can't be specific - like varied states. Varied should be an option.

Bad State

I've used TT for years and have been reasonably satisfied with it for my federal return. Had to fill out a non-resident Massachusetts return, and it was useless for this. It would not recognize non-Massachusetts income, throwing off the calculations and making it impossible to do my home state return, since everything carried over. Frustrating waste of time and money.
What's great about it: Ease and thoroughness of federal return process.
What's not so great: Could not handle the Massachusetts return for nonresidents.

Look this software

I've been using Turbo Tax for two decades now. It keeps getting better. Auto transfer from my stockbroker is a dream. I like being able to switch back and forth from the step by step to the actual IRS forms as well. The program can complete State taxes in under a minute once all data are entered. Not much bad to say about this product, other than it can't get me a discount with IRS.
What's great about it: ease of use, step by step instructions. ability to flip back and from the step by step and actual forms.
