Unhappy State Filer

I was unable to login to the online store to pay for my E-filing for the State Return. As a result I now need to wait weeks instead of days for my refund.
I have used Turbo Tax for the last 15 years and always been pleased.
I am not pleased now and considering other options next year.
What's not so great: State E-File did not work

Many years of use

I have been using Turbo Tax (or its permutations) since 1989. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is fast, convenient, accurate and information from prior year(s) is ever present. My concern is that it was difficult to get around the free version adding all my personal information when I already subscribe to the full version. In addition, paying to file the state return is a nuisance and should be included in the cost of the software. Looks like extra profit to me. All in all, a good product.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process
What's not so great: Difficult to get to paid version, charge for state filing

Great TAX software. Used every year since 1995

I have used TurboTAX every year since 1995. It actually improves every year. The help provided when there is a question is clear and concise, and provides access to even more details if needed. The way the software asks questions about each person's situation, makes the process of entering data later, easier and the reason why is more understandable.
I am happier with TurboTAX every year. The questions asked make it easier when it comes to which of the many TAX forms need to be filled out. And it never leaves you hanging, not knowing if you should or should not use certain TAX forms.
I honestly, don't think doing taxes could be any easier. Some forms allow importing data from employers, banks and other financial institutions. It also imports information from the previous year, if you used TurboTAX, such as your last filing status, address, marital status, dependents and other information used during the data entry and at the end of the entire process.
I would highly recommend this software to family and friends.
If you have not used the software in a few years, give it another try. It gets better every year.
What's great about it: Help for every line of the TAX form, step by step assistance
What's not so great: I actually can't think of any. Improved to near perfect.

Schedule E Issue

I used the 'guide me' approach and when I got to the rental property area, TurboTax did not guide me. This is the first year I have had rental property and I had to stumble my way through and am not at all certain I got it right.
