It as about milage on a biz that we did not have this year but did last year

What's not so great: some odd questions and does not give way to remove stuff from last year

I loved to be able to upload all data directly from my brokerage accounts. It keeps paper clutter to a minimum.

Pretty good overall

Overall software is really good. Downside to buying early is you wind up downloading the whole program 4-5 times as it "updates" itself almost weekly between Feb-March.

Problems of importing 2014 turbo tax info

I was not able to import 2014 tax return information to my 2015 version. My Turbo tax 2014 and 2015 are both on the same computer. Tax files are even in the same directory. Somehow Turbo tax 2015 was not able to load my 2014 info. I hope the bug will be fixed in 2016.
What's great about it: Has manual key in alternative
What's not so great: hard to understand why 2014 info was not loaded automatically

TurboTax is a great product at a great price to get income taxes done right.
What's great about it: The return gets done correctly. Data is saved year to yea.
What's not so great: The interview mode is slow. High fee for state e-file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax should be called Easy tax!

Love that Turbo tax takes the hassle out of doing taxes. Easy to use and provides lots of additional info if you want it. You can use the feature where it goes through every area of income and deductions and asks you questions about your situation. Or more tax-wise users can skip the questions and just go to the sections they need. I also like to see my refund or amount owed at the top of the screen and watch it change as I enter info. Also like that it transfers the info from the previous year (I use it every year) and shows the last year amounts I entered - this helps ensure that I don't forget anything. Well worth the money.

It was easy to use, asked the right questions, made suggestions, reconfirmed selections, provided different scenarios, and did what it advertised - great product, will definitely use again.
