Super Simple

I have been preparing my own tax returns for more than 50 years. I have been using Turbo Tax for 15 years or longer. Every year this program becomes easier than the year before, and this year it is even more user friendly than ever. I always use the guided input when preparing my returns; questions are simple and straight forward, and easy explanations are available for things I'm not totally sure of. Examples are available every step of the way, so that you are assured of having the correct documentation. It takes away all of the guess work; and make accurate filings the easiest thing imaginable. This program is well worth the investment, and is "the greatest thing since sliced bread".
What's great about it: Most user friendly program ever

The Mac version required that users go through the entire download updates process every time you quit and reopened your return. Very frustrating and not time-efficient. I ended up leaving my return open on my computer for the 2 weeks that I worked on it. That isn't advisable either with sensitive documents. I believe I reported the same issue with TurboTax 2014 for Mac.

Good System

I have liked using Turbo tax. However, there have been glitches in the process each year I have used the program.
The updates lock up the system and force the user to force shutdown.

A little disappointed this year

When I first opened 2015 Turbo Tax I expected to be able to import some info from last year's tax form but that didn't happen. Then in the review section, every time I check a section and then wanted to return to the list I kept being returned to the top of the list rather than where I left off. Otherwise this year's Turbo Tax was as good as I had experienced before. I will be back next year.
What's great about it: Same easy answer the questions format
What's not so great: Didn't gather any info from 2014 taxes and slow moving i a couple of places

collect & print unneeded info & worksheets

every inquiry into a topic results in a worksheet, even if all you want is info on question.
Oregon state instructions instruct me to attach copy of W-2 when I had no W-2 income but did have 1099-R income
required forms to file is 17 pages, all forms & worksheets was 87 pages. (honestly don't you think that at least a little excessive & unnecessary)
What's great about it: math checking ability
What's not so great: gathers too much info & completes excessive, unnecessary worksheets
