I am a novice and am tired of paying exorbitant CPA fees. Tried TurboTax a few years ago and am totally pleased.
What's great about it: Couldn't be easier
What's not so great: None

Good Experience but...

I had Federal and state withholding on a 1099 -G for Unemployment. No place to put it. Finally looked at the forms and inserted . Instructions would have saved me over a half hour

Two little things

Two little things that bother me with Turbo Tax.
1) When reviewing anything like income or deductions, etc., towards the middle to the end, every time I select an item and update it, when I come back to the main screen, I have to scroll down to where I was prior. That's very annoying and time consuming. I wish I could return to where I was, and not to the top of the page.
2) When I am shown the next set of income, or deductions, or forms, I'd like the option to skip them if I can tell that they don't apply to me.
Finally, when an error is found in the final review, I don't like having to correct it in the actual form.

Excellent software

Have used TurboTax for 10 years, and been very impressed. Online filing this year would not accept real estate tax, mortgage interest, and direct rollover IRA showed up as taxable income. Had to go out and get the disk, then everything went smoothly, as in years past.
What's great about it: easy to enter, asks the right questions to cover everything
What's not so great: online filing had bugs, had to go out and get the disk
