What's not so great: Not good when you a spouse living oversees -- question should come up asking, "Do either of you work OUSA"

2015 taxes

Its the only way to do your taxes, TurboTax walks you though all the steps. It is the only way I will do my taxes, until we go to a flat tax and we don't have to file any more. I'll use TurboTax until the end.
What's great about it: Its the only way to go.
What's not so great: Its so easy...

I think Turbo Tax is very simple and thorough. Anyone can file there own taxes with Turbo Tax unless your taxes are extremely difficult. It is also much cheaper than hiring someone to do your taxes. I have used for YEARS.
What's great about it: Easy to do with Turbo Tax walking you through
What's not so great: Not as easy to understand deductions when you dont do it yourself

What's great about it: ability to change from step by step to forms
What's not so great: Not sure TT always "asks" the questions in the easiest way. I found myself questioning what was really being asked.

Bad return but good Turbo Tax experience

Turbo Tax always seems to put my mind at ease by showing me my audit risk AND by providing me support in case of an IRS audit. Thank you.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes filing so easy by letting me know what I owe or am getting back instantly.
What's not so great: I had some trouble finding the return from last year. Not sure what happened since I've been using Turbo Tax for years.

Solid for FED and NYS - incorrect for NYC 1127

Overall, a solid program; difficult file/version management. See pros and cons able.
What's great about it: Auto calculations; import info from last year; potential to import from financial institutions
What's not so great: Not all imports form finaical institutions are operable; software help is poor; confusing file save function; no save as
