What's not so great: Under unreimbursed business mileage, had trouble finding how to show the reimbursed mileage

An Awesome program

I like everything about this program. It's a reason why I've been using since 1992, when it was not called Intuit. Keep it up developing team! Kudos.

Greatful for such excellent help

I get Turbo Tax every year because the tax laws are so complicated that I couldn't do it on my own and this is more secure and less expensive than going to a professional tax accountant.
What's great about it: The program walks you through the process.
What's not so great: There isn't a summary before you go into each section of the types of documents you should have ready.

2015 Tax Returns Prepared on Turbo Tax

I am happy with Turbo Tax but I worry that I might be missing something by not using a professional tax preparer. There are situations in which Turbo Tax does not explain things sufficiently. This year, I also noticed that it sometimes does not start where I left off.
What's great about it: Quick and efficient
What's not so great: Doesn't give you enough confidence

A quick thank you

I ran into some trouble getting my forms to print. After trying everything I could think of, I decided to call. (No number included in help or on box -- had to Google it.)
I spoke with Erica in Albuquerque (I believe). She was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and supportive both technically and emotionally (I was rather anxious about the problem and the looming deadline.) She tried everything, in a calm and methodical manner. It turned out that the problem was not with TurboTax, but rather my laptop. Once we isolated the problem, she gave me some "Plan B" scenarios to get my documents printed, if necessary. My system finally manged to print everything after a long(!) wait and some misleading status messages. (Time for a new PC, I fear.)
Erica made me a true believer in Turbotax! I liked it before, but knowing that such a high level of support is there if needed, I will sing it's praises to all I know.
Erica is a true asset to Turbotax -- I just wanted to make sure you knew that.

Easy Times

What's great about it: I found this year's version of Turbo Tax to be the easiest for me to use by far in my 25 years of using the software.
What's not so great: None

Keeps getting slower

Turbo tax is still a good product but it is getting too expensive for the hassle. The automatic updater kept locking up and not downloading updates. I kept having to restart my computer.
What's great about it: Easier to enter stuff via download
What's not so great: Software would not update
