Refund Overseas!

I have used TurboTax for years, but although I live overseas, as do 1 million Americans, there is no way to buy this with an overseas credit card in $. My sister has to buy it for me on hers and then I download it.
Also, it would be great if there were an FBAR form for us with overseas accounts.
What's great about it: Easy to use and clear instructions
What's not so great: Impossible to buy with overseas credit card

HARD TO DO

Need to file a joint fed return & separate states due to separate residences. tough to do w/ e-filing required in NY & VA.
What's great about it: Intelligent sotware
What's not so great: Gets between me and the actual tax forms.

What's great about it: Your man solved the problem I had correcting errors that the TurboTax review found
What's not so great: We had to download the CD version to do the corrections that were found in the online version

2015 Mac Version had lots of bugs.

2015 Mac Premier Version had lots of bugs.
I spent almost as much time figuring work-arounds as doing my taxes. Several times I saved my return and reopened it later. The calculated taxes of the reopened return were different until I reentered sections with the same numbers as the saved version. Another time TurboTax would not let me unmark an estimated value and kept flagging it as an error to fix.
What's great about it: The import feature from financial institutions worked well for me
What's not so great: Lots of bugs

Big Help!

We have used Turbo Tax for years because we own rental property and it has been indispensable. This year we sold our rental property and TT found things for us to review that we would never have known to look for on our own. I can't recommend Turbo Tax highly enough!
What's great about it: Explained things very clearly and having the option of phone help was very reassuring.

What's great about it: Fast, to the point questions, options to enter detailed info or jump to only those areas that apply.
