Turbo Tax User for Years

I have used Turbo Tax for years.
I like pulling in my W-2 and it be accurate; the transfer of information from the previous year is accurate and easy; handling complex elements is simply (oil and gas investments, rental property for example).
The ability to create the state return is a great feature -- state returns can be tricky.
Turbo Tax can be used by anyone, regardless of training or tax knowledge -- and it is actually a good training tool to help you plan for next year's taxes.
What's great about it: Easy, intuitive, has a lot of deep-dive info if needed
What's not so great: A little cumberson when going back to change information -- steps to go through to correct

Turbo Tax is Awesome

Turbo Tax is the best tax program you can get. Been using Turbo Tax for 5 years and they have never failed me..
What's great about it: Everything about Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Nothing I can relate too

So Awesome...even for a procrastinator

I am a procrastinator and technology often baffles/intimidates me. Turbo Tax was awesome...easy to use, the information bubbles were helpful and getting around the site was easy.
SO much less stress than trying to do it on my own...worth every penny!
What's great about it: Could not believe how easy it was!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A little harder than usual

I had an ESPP sale this year and the walk-though for that was very confusing. I also found the interview process less seamless than it had been.
What's great about it: great walkthough process
What's not so great: screen layout not as intuitive as usual

Turbo Tax Premiere Edition

This year's Turbo Tax was as good expected. Did have some issues doing capital gain/loss for first time. Things need to be a bit more obvious on how to get there.
What's great about it: Had all the forms I needed.
What's not so great: Was difficult to understand how to enter capital loss.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is still the best tax tool out there other than going to a Tax Accountant/CPA. I should know because I'm a CPA and was a Tax Accountant for 6 years. I just don't specialize in personal income taxes so I rely on TurboTax. It covers the vast majority of tax situations facing 99% of the population. The other 1% can afford to go to a CPA. I also really like the look and feel of the software. It's easy to follow and offers hints and tips along the way such as "this is not very common", or "this is not recommended". Great product. I'd go 4.5 stars until state returns can be e-filed for free.
What's great about it: Covers all the bases, step by step
What's not so great: Wish state efile was free

I've have always used Turbo Tax

When I brought in my 2014 turbo tax, it didn't put in my loss carryovers from last year. Program glitch? It wouldn't compare last years results either. Please fix for 2016 (Note Mac user).
