Powerful but more complex

I've used TurboTax for about the past 35 years. It used to have errors but they've fixed these and I only found one minor glitch (relating to med insurance box checking) which was easily addressed.
What's great about it: Handles all situations
What's not so great: not completely clear of where data entered step-by-step will be placed on IRS forms or work sheets
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is my 10th year using Turbo Tax. I think highly enough of it to have both my sons using it. Keep up the good work.

Easy to Complete

I have been using TT since the beginning and would not do my taxes any other way.
What's great about it: Transfer from Delux to Premier this year was easy. Fast time to complete taxes.
What's not so great: The fact that I had to upgrade to Premier just to get stock support.

The quick guided Question & Answer feature of Turbo Tax has not disappointed me in the 15+ years that we have been using the software. This makes filling out my tax forms so much more easier. And the online HELP is great for those questions I had doubts with.
I lost my Turbo Tax files when my PC crashed. That was almost 15+ years worth of TT saved files. I Would love to see Turbo Tax add a feature that would give me the ability to have access to past year's files saved through Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Guided Question approach made using Turbo Tax easy
What's not so great: Can't recover Turbo Tax files from past year's filled tax returns.

Taxes made easy

I have used TurboTax for many years now. It always makes it very easy to do and file your tax return. However, this year I had to pay closer attention to the questions than I did in previous years. However, paying closer attention is not a bad thing when you are doing your taxes.
What's great about it: I like that it leads you through only the forms you need.
What's not so great: It seemed as though the questions were not as clear as in the past

Generally Turbotax was a great fit for me. two areas of concern - it was not clear how to enter U.S. Savings bond information - I mostly stumbled on it, the s/w did not ask if there were any inputs for savings bond.
for royalties only the basic deductions are asked for- if more specifics are need you have to go directly to the form and figure it out yourself.

What's great about it: usually very straightforward and complete
What's not so great: use for royalties and for Savings bonds was not clear or straightforward
