Cool User Interface

It's great tool to do Taxes. It would be helpful to have better help content. E.g. 1099-INT for minor.

I liked the side by side of 2014 to 2015. I'd like to see more of what was imported from Scottrade so I can get a quick reference of last years stock sales to gauge accuracy.

Paperwork Challenged

The program makes it easy to fully complete a very convoluted and voluminous tax code requirement easily.
The major problem that always occurs is when you find your paperwork is not in order or easily found. I say every year that I will be organized for next year, but it doesn't happen!
What's great about it: Good as you can get for a complicated procedure.
What's not so great: Having to pay additional monies

More intuitive

I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years. I like you your software a lot!
However, I'd like to suggest you to add indication on any tax items that SW automatically worked through even user didn't select them to work on. For an example, I skipped AMT at beginning and want to work on it in a later timeframe. However, SW still calculate AMT and included in the total Tax amount. I'd like to see a auto update or some kind of indication to remind me that SW has done the work for me.
What's great about it: Easy for anyone to start the tax return process for a simple case.
What's not so great: lack of indication on all tax items, even user didn't select to work on.

Back in 2013 I worked for myself for a brief stint and as such filed a K1. 2 years later, even though I checked that this information is no longer needed, it forces you to complete K1 information.
What's great about it: Carry forward information
What's not so great: K1
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great until State returns

State tax was very irritating. I could only work on one return free but it charged to calculate more than one return. It says free return but that is only to calculate, they charge you to e-file and I wasn't the only one if you go to the help section there are lots of other questions about it.
You can't separate the returns you have to calculate fed and then you can do state.
Overall it was a good product with many nice features but the State makes it very unsatisfactory.
What's great about it: Import was good and exampled helped a lot.
What's not so great: State, says free but they charge for e-file. Hard to contact live person.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

State Taxes More Difficult Than Usual

Completing the MN tax return this year was very difficult, and I am still not sure I did it correctly. TurboTax left too much to be done manually with very confusing directions.
What's great about it: Interface
What's not so great: Not enough automation
