Totally a good product

this is a very good tax program. if the Royalties section was a little clearer would help. I had trouble answering the questions correctly because I needed to get depletion to work but after answering the questions the program bypassed that completely. I had to go back and check the forms as to why that was and found that even answering the questions I thought I answered correctly, I found that I hadn't so had to correct this and then go back and forth to get it right. Spent approximately an hour doing these corrections.
What's great about it: the ease of going thru the program
What's not so great: sometimes confusing when it comes to Royalties and filling out correctly

I am glad that I took the time to review my needs before I just purchased the most expensive program. The Premier program was all I needed.
What's great about it: Only had to use the Premier program this year

Amazingly Easy to Use

Last year, I was hospitalized and had to rely upon an accountant to do my taxes. Since I am low middle income, I was not a priority for him. In fact, I had to get an extension before filing. Turbo Tax makes it a fun challenge to do your taxes. I like the reviews and checks that the program executes.
What's great about it: The program walked me through step by step and it made the process incredibly easy to use.
What's not so great: I had a little difficulty with the updates. They would run and just before installing, I would get an error message.

I was completely unfamiliar with Ohio state tax returns and filing needs so a little more guidance would have been great.

Easy Tax Preparation & Filing

Each year the Turbo Tax gets easier to use. he Audit Defense package is a bargain and gives one a peace of mind.
What's great about it: Very efficient easy to use tax preparation package.
What's not so great: Could not check box for a state with no State Income Tax required.

Just what we needed

Have been using the Deluxe version for several years, but always wondered if it was handling my investment filings appropriately. Went to the Premium version this year and IT WAS WORTH IT! Answered all my questions, addressed all my needs and issues. Filing was significantly faster this year. Plan to buy the Premium version from here on!
What's great about it: Hit ALL the areas I needed to address for both my federal and state returns
What's not so great: None that I found
