Turbo-tax 2015

I have used Turbo-Tax for years.
I especially appreciate being able to import information from financial institutions, and have Turbo-Tax put the numbers in the right places in the appropriate forms.
The error checking features kept me from making two mistakes this year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions. Importing information from my financial institutions is a great feature.
What's not so great: I couldn't get support for reporting losses due to scams.

I spent several hours of trial & error to the extreme that I had to Create a Bogus 2014 Return with Car Registrations Removed for useable transferred data to the 2015 Return in order to Continue thru the Deductions & Credits Tab to the Health Insurance Tab, which almost didn't Open either..
I haven't given up on TT even though my Mac 0SX Lion won't be supported next year.

Improved from 2014 tax version, fewer screens to click to upload information. Overall better experience with Turbo-Tax than last year.
What's great about it: ease of entry of data
What's not so great: still has loop for K1

Very Straight Forward

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and find that the product is continually advancing. I've been using the Download Software version and am reluctant to switch to the online as I understand that it does not have the same feature set.
What's great about it: Liked ability to use Forms View or Query View
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind

Love the Easy Steps

For the most part, I love Turbo Tax. This is has been my 6th year using it. Love the easy to understand wording for each step & any additional questions/definitions through out the sections. I especially love the table assistance when trying to itemize Charity Donations. (That can really add up). This helps me to stay more detailed & organized for the next year!
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step; Love the Donation Tables; Wording that anyone can understand
What's not so great: Couldn't find details of why a Rollover counts towards your Gross Income
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TT is very easy to use. I've used it for both my brother and me for the last 9 years for both business, rental, and personal incomes. It's very user friendly.
I do have a suggestion, however. For us gamblers, it would be nice if TT would include a capability that would enter the casino address, phone, tax ID number, etc, for multiple W-2s.
What's not so great: Gambling W-2s should be easier to enter when there is more than one from the same casino.

Once again, Turbo Tax was easy to use. Tax year 2015 was an exception in that I sold my home. Turbo Tax walked me through that whole area of filing the necessary information. I found the ability to read "extra" help guides very clear, easy to understand and answer my questions.
