It is great that some financial institutions allow electronic exchange of info into the tax program. Intuit needs to aggressively get more institutions on board, still have to manually enter from some institutions.

Turbo Tax Experience

I love TurboTax. I'm the kind of person who likes to know how things work and this experience is always informative.
What's great about it: System is always user friendly and informative.
What's not so great: In the e-filing phase, I had a hiccup and had to go back into a few data fields to have the system recognize the data.

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than twenty years and found it to be the most user friendly than any other application and I have used most of them.
What's great about it: easy to use

Easy to use

I really like that I can either walk through the return answering questions or choose what I want to work on. I used both functions. Sometimes I even went to forms mode and looked to be sure I had filled everything out that I thought needed. I was a tax pro for eight years so I have a clear understanding of how to do taxes. I really like that I can download my investment information. I did not have that capability as a pro! This makes it so much easier and accurate.
There were a couple of places that I knew I could take a deduction but Turbo Tax didn't ask me. (Investment Advisory Fees) If I hadn't know that I could take that I would have missed out.

no place for tax refund not farm not business

Good Tool, Font Too Small

Make Pop-up windows have the ability to make it big enough to read.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Pop-up windows had too small of font and no easy wasy to enlarge
