Good, but not as good as last years experience

I've used TurboTax for many years. Although the process was basically the same as previous years the program would minimize all the time. I believe it was more of an issue because my OS is now Windows 10.
What's great about it: Rather simple to use
What's not so great: Keep minimizing

I've used TurboTax for 24 years and it gets better and easier every year. The ability to download tax information from brokerage accounts, etc., reduces the amount of data entry required. When you are ready to start your return, everything can be imported from the previous year, again saving time and effort. It's a great program which is easy to use.
What's great about it: Comprehensive; ability to download tax information; transfer of information year to year

Makes Filing Easy and Inexpensive

I'm retired with several sources of income and this year I moved across the country, selling one house and buying another. Turbo Tax handled everything easily and thoroughly. I especially like that my audit risk is very low!
What's great about it: Handles my retirement and investment income with simple question I can answer.
What's not so great: A little expensive, but cheaper than paying somenone else

Turbo tax filing

Turbo tax has been tracking my rental properties for several years. It is easy to use by just answering the interview questions. I would not use any other software or service. Turbo tax has been ideal for my situation for several years.
What's great about it: Easy to use, simple to follow questions
What's not so great: nothing to dislike

Disappointing support for Schedule K-1

I purchased the Premier version this year, because I had some capital gains and a Schedule K-1. Again this year, I encountered problems when entering the data from my Schedule K-1 supplied by Linn Energy. The K-1 from Linn lists multiple items under the letter T for boxes 13 and 20. In each case, TurboTax only offers the "T" option. What it doesn't explain, and what I had to "google" to find out, is that you must leave the box blank and click on "Continue" to have the various "T" options show up on following pages. How hard would it be for them to include this explanation in the dialog box.
Also, the options offered in TurboTax don't exactly correspond to what is listed on the K-1. During the check for errors, one popped up with a cryptic message about an error in, I think, some box F on a worksheet. After an hour or so of "googling" and some trial and error, I was finally able to get through the check, error free. I don't understand why TurboTax continues to have these same issues, year after year. I would think they'd be able to have them fixed after so many people continue to experience them.

What's not so great: Confusing with hidden areas and obscure instructions

Worst Tubo Tax I've ever used

Have used Turbo Tax for at least the last 7 or 8 years. Would rather pay someone to do my taxes than go through the aggravation of dealing with this horribly non-intuitive and cumbersome awkward software. So many problems even down to the way it prints the return at the end. Help within the program is non-existent. They depend on a community of users to find answers. I Will never us this software again.
