problematic

Dates lived in state kept giving me error message saying it was more than 365 days but offered no explanation on how to fix it.
then it kept asking to fix certain lines under deductions but again you have no clear idea what they are talking about and no explanation given.

What's not so great: the fix error section is hard to figure out what they are talking about

Well worth the money

I find the print instructions to be confusing, i.e., preview and print are in the same instruction panel.
What's great about it: Simple. Just answer the questions.
What's not so great: Printing instructions are confusing.

Love TurboTax. Been using for 12 years and love having it import all the important info from previous years. Saves a lot of time especially dealing with stock gains and losses.
What's great about it: Simple to use, complete, accurate
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Zero Support from Turbo Tax

Worst experience trying to update software. Using operating system Windows 10. Turbo Tax appears to be years behind. I tried:
1 selective Start-up Mode.
2 Services.msc
3 Manual start-up.
All failed. Never did get updates. Hope there was nothing that impacts my files. Will try a different method next year and encourage others to do likewise.

Entering information was easy and well guided.
Got support from help line on How to enter Foreign Tax credit for my Pension income in UK.
Expert also had difficulty. due to quarks in the Turbo Tax software.
Problem: Once the statements are imported from financial companies, it autofills any Foreign Tax paid. But this had to be deleted before entering other Tax credit from Pension??
Wasted hours trying to do this manually.
Need to add Foreign Tax credit in addition to Foreign Tax in DIV of investments income.
Hope this will be fixed for Next year.
