Good and bad

Very helpful and intuitive.
Still trying to scam users...I paid extra for an additional state (almost as expensive as the federal return) and they tried to charge me to file electronically. Not if I'm paying for the state!!! More TurboTax games.
What's great about it: Information taken from previous returns was flawless
What's not so great: Charged for submitting extra state electronically when I already paid for the state

What's great about it: Very useful tools - long time user of TT!

2015 Taxes

I found it difficult to do what if calculations; I found it difficult to navigate inputting of foreign tax information; I did not find the help sections too helpful; could not find a hot line phone # to call someone; and on the help exchange many of my questions were there unanswered. I have been using turbo for several years now, I am a retired CPA tax accountant, so perhaps I am overly critical but I did find this year the process to be more difficult. Particularly in correcting errors found on Form 1116 and AMT.
What's great about it: Thorough in questions.
What's not so great: Hard to do what if calculations; difficult to correct errors ( in particular foreign tax credit)

My Private CPA

Have been using TurboTax since before it was called TurboTax....since the 1990's. It has never failed me, even if an occassional IRS Audit. Easy and simple to use.
What's great about it: Consistency, understandable layman questions. Big view map navigation format helps avoid getting lost .
What's not so great: Price relatively higher than other "equivalent" tax software.

Better and Better Every Year

There seemed to be a limit to the number of Form 8949 transactions that TurboTax would accept. This was not clear in the instructions. In fact, in my opinion, the instructions were a little misleading. Other than this quirk, I think the software is great.
What's great about it: Continuity of carry-forwards from year to year is great
What's not so great: Entering a large number of Form 8949 transactions is horrible

Add some warning flags early about possible errors and or poor use of selections.
What's great about it: Transfer of prior years
What's not so great: Weak in explaing and detailing how and why of some calculations

Works for me several years

I have used TurboTax since 2003 and it has been great software for submitting taxes. It is easy to use and leads you through the process to make sure you aren't missing the opportunity to maximize your return.
What's great about it: East to use and makes sure I'm not missing deductions.
What's not so great: no problems
