2015 Turbo Tax

Easy to use. I would recommend it this product to all. I do believe you need to review and fix the health care section of the software.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Step by step process is very good. Prompts and help were very useful
What's not so great: The health care section did not seem to work at all.

TurboTax Not as Consumer Friendly as Past Years

TurboTax used to handle stock splits to sold ESPP shares, This year had to do all calculations manually which was time consuming when selling stock from different lots.
What's great about it: Easy to use and unubderstnad
What's not so great: Features Needed Removed From Current Year Edition

Part Year Residents

I lived in one state (IL) all year, my wife in two. For IL, I was also treated as part year resident and had my exemptions reduced. Did not want to file IL as married/separate and Federal as married/joint because it got complicated even using Turbo Tax. It was small dollars but it would have been nice to keep 100% IL exemption for me. Rest of family was reduced as expected.
ALSO, I AM STILL UNEASY ABOUT OBAMACARE. I have dependent in-laws and do not know how to address their healthcare filing requirements.........

What's great about it: Ease of use, Asks lots of questions, Brings previous years info forward
What's not so great: Did not handle multistate like I would have expected

Rental Income needs little more organized. Not clear. Not self explanatory, I had to take Help from a friend for this topic
What's great about it: Tax preparation handling made easy in most of sceanrios
What's not so great: In some places like -Rental Income faced little difficulty

Cut My Headache in half

This software is a wonderful time saver. It is as if you are "speaking" with a tax preparer. I love the way it saves and brings up previous years tax info.
The hardest part for me is to estimate future income/losses.
What's great about it: Took me step-by-step through each item that applied to me. Allowed me to go back and forth where needed.

Hard to read

I like using a tax program but it was extremely difficult to see what was on the screen. I had to move the screen very close to read the print and to make sure my entries were accurate. Make enlarging what we see an option. On my Apple, command+ did not work. Also not as convenient to go to forms and find our way around as some of the past programs. Did like the import of last year's info - saved time.

What's great about it: Program changes each year. Have to spend time trying to figure out how and what to enter.
What's not so great: Too small on the screen. Couldn't make it larger to read. Very hard on the eyes. Need to be able to enlarge what shows
