Generally a good program, but some of the instructions were a
bit confused/confusing especially in the area of MLP K1 forms, also the entry of options transactions (puts and calls) cud be made easier.

Overall good with noted exceptions in the "Cons" remarks.
What's great about it: Quick
What's not so great: Can't pick up in state where one leaves off. Some prior entries are not retained and have to be reentered.

When filing electronically please state beforehand if both H & wife
need to enter info especially about pins
need to enter info especially about pins
also need better way to enter cap gains and losses if there is extra entries not downloaded or missed in the download
also under misc income you need a section when misc income is from investment securities that appear on 1099 the choices you give do not include this option & you have to make it up
What's not so great: electronic filing is somewhat ambigious clarify if H&wife info

So easy to use!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now having had my taxes done by an accountant only once in my lifetime (I am over 70).
The ease of use is wonderful. Just get your information together and start entering as the program asks for input. Couldn't be easier.

Not great with taxes, usually have a friend do them. but not available. tried Turbo Tax, walked me thru it step by step.

Easy to do

I will continue to use TurboTax. The inputting and calculations are very easy. This year the filing failed three times after I paid and received an email indicating that my credit card was charged. I had to print my forms and will mail them in as usual.
What's great about it: my income includes some tedious investment income. TurboTax allows me to import that information from my fin. advisor.
What's not so great: the efiling function failed three times after I payed for the feature
