TurboTax torpedoed the Taxman!

After using TurboTax for several years, so much of the info is already inputted! in under 2 hours, I was able to file a pretty comprehensive return. Thanks for a pretty darn good piece of software.
What's great about it: easy to use and clear explanations when I had a question
What's not so great: some confusion over royalty income

Great and Improved

I find the format and improved inquiry notes a big step forward. I have used TurboTax for as long as it was generally available and find this year's version a big positive change from even last year's version.
What's great about it: Fast software, easy to understand, easy to get answers to questions, simple to edit and track old entries
What's not so great: nothing of significance

Turbo tax is great!

Turbo tax was very easy to use and as long as you have all the tax documents, very fast completion of tax returns. All the forms that need to be filled out were gathered in one place and filled out as you answered the questions asked by the program.
What's great about it: Very easy to use... All required forms in one place.

Easy Peasy except for state

Been using TurboTax for years, and will continue to do so. The AZ state interview is getting worse and worse. They ask you questions that have no extra guidance like the fed side. I hope my AZ return is correct. It's almost like the AZ program is merely a shell for the actual tax forms, reminds me of what Windows 3.1 was to MS-DOS.
What's great about it: Federal return was awesome!
What's not so great: On your own with the Arizona return

2015 Tax Return

I have been working overseas for the last 5 years - so have not had to do my own taxes for some time. The company always did the taxes. Turbo Tax made a very complicated job relatively simple. I appreciate the detailed questions at each stage and help with getting the PIN sorted at the end.
Turbo Tax made this a relatively painless process except for writing the check at the end - which was expected.

Overall a very good experience (again). I've used TurboTax for a number of years (off and on). The program has improved in terms of simplicity. But, there seem to be fewer explanations than in previous years. That may be a reflection of me, though, more than the program itself.
I like the smooth simplicity of getting through the dreaded taxes though. Turbo Tax is definitely a big help!
What's great about it: Very helpful explanations of all kinds of issues
What's not so great: Difficult to correct a mistake at times

Best Refund Ever!

I have a complicated tax return. After years of trying to understand the IRS forms and publications, I discovered Turbo Tax. It is such a relief to look at one thing at a time, answer the questions and voila! Done. The printout shows all the forms filled in and every number in the proper place. I love it! I'm even getting a refund this year!
What's great about it: Easy , Easy, Easy!
What's not so great: Can't think of any.
