2015 Return was simple

The filing process was relatively simple and easy. I was able to download my information from financial institutions but found it essential to check the download against the paper forms as there were a few errors. Don't know whether the problem was at the bank or in the software. Felt confident that tax calculations were accurate as I did not have to rely on my own work where errors have been made in the past. Would be nice if the program included calculators to determine/check RMD payments from IRAs and retirement accounts. Over all very good program saving considerable time and money.
What's great about it: easy to download financial information from bank and broker
What's not so great: Help did not cover my issues

Great except if you don't want to e-file

I had a lot of factors this year: W-2 income, self employed income, SS income, RMD income, rental income. Lots of deductions including an Airstream I bought as a second home.The process was fairly easy and in my checking of the forms seemed to be on the money. Glad Im not filling in all the many pages of "stuff" that our crazy tax code asks for. Thanks Turbo Tax! Satisfied customer of many years.
What's great about it: Was able to do a fairly complicated return
What's not so great: Difficulty printing to mail my state return.

What's great about it: The instructions were easy to follow and any questions I had were answered in the menus provided

Pay through the nose to the IRS

Worked as expected over several days (weeks?).
at one point it appeared that my 50% ownership was not correctly applied to the depreciation on rental property. it ultimately was included correctly but I am not sure just why.
might be some clearer instructions needed.

Excelent Product

I have used Turbo Tax since it first came out and have been over all very satisfied with it. The product has continually improved every year that I have been using it.
What's great about it: For the most part easy to use.
What's not so great: A few areas were a little confusing. But what isn't with doing taxes?

The Best

Been using TurboTax for a number of years. Each year seems to go more smoothly. Really appreciate your doing all those calculations that would take me forever to figure out, such as the foreign tax credit. Tried another tax package several years ago and switched to TurboTax midway in the process. You make doing my taxes easy. Thanks!
