This is the 7th straight year I have used TurboTax. It is well organized and easy to use every year. On top of that it is no more than 25% the cost of an accountant.
Highly reccomended

Great, easy to use program

Overall, the program is excellent, and I trust that the machinations and algorithms behind the scenes give effective filing and tax advice in most situations. Still, it might be good for some to have the ability to file a mock return, for those that really want to dabble in what if scenarios. Personally, I prefer the no -frills ease of the program and will continue to use this product. No issues whatsoever with downloads, documents or filing.
What's great about it: Very streamlined and straightforward
What's not so great: Inability to file more than one return, e.g. model different tax scenarios

Excellent way to do taxes!

Easy way to complete our taxes without the expense of someone preparing it for us! I would have liked to have the option to live chat during the process for some troubleshooting, but was able to figure out what I needed in the end. Have used TurboTax for several years and continue to plan on using it in the future.
What's great about it: Easy, convenient!
What's not so great: Would have liked an online chat option for trouble shooting

Excellent product for straight forward uncomplicated tax situation that includes most kinds of transactions encountered by dual income home owners.
What's great about it: Clear and helpful process with good explanations and clarifying information

2015 Done....where is planning for 2016?

I started using Turbo Tax the first year and haven't missed a year since. Always seems to better each year but.... this year I noticed that there was not tab or option for planning for the next year. Circumstances have changed and I must rely on SS. I wanted to get an idea how much I should have withheld when it starts. Also would be good to get guidance on how much I can take out of my 401 and how the taxes would flow. (I NEVER want to pay a penalty for not paying enough in the proper quarter)

What's great about it: I like the option to select what I work on next.
What's not so great: Previous versions had a planning tab (as I recall). Not 2015
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
