updating everytime one log on

Every single time I log on, this program make me update. Then the update fails???
What's great about it: convenient
What's not so great: I not sure, I think I can get this program cheaper in store

Forcing me to eFile State,WHY

I love Turbotax. Always use it. BUT THIS YEAR I DIDNT LIKE ONE THING: It was forcing me to eFile my State of MI return. I had to make a duplicate file of my return. Then remove the state information, then eFile it. Then from the original file I printed only the State for mail, by first choosing no eFile, then choosing to print federal later. Maybe there was a faster way, but I didn't find it. Very aggravating that its "seemingly" impossible to NOT eFile your state of MI return, when the "learn more" clearly states that the filer can reject eFile and mail his return.
What's great about it: I enjoy using Turbotax for the most part. Longtime customer.
What's not so great: This year is difficult to NOT pay efile fee for state

Taxes 2015

Overall am happy with Turbo Tax.
2015 was a rough year for taxes with a lot of special circumstances.
Importing W2's and documents from Financial Institutions made life much easier.
Would like the ability to go directly to the expense items for Rental Property instead of answering the same questions repeatedly. Would make for a more consistent interface across categories.

What's great about it: Quick Calculations, easy transfer from Year to Year and Fed to State
What's not so great: "I'll choose what I work on" menu's need a bit of work. Viewing in forms mode was not the same and viewing in print mode

Ouch! I didn't know I owed so much!

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 15 Years. It just keep getting better every year. Your guys have done a very good job. See you next year.
What's great about it: Appreciate the fact that I could directly to the area or forms I needed.
What's not so great: i had a minor inconvenience finding a form that I was looking for.

Quick and easy

I like how they walk you through and every year, the terminology, etc. gets easier as they guide you through all the documents you need to fill out. HELP is so close if you need it.
What's great about it: It gets easier if you do it every year and save a copy.
What's not so great: My computer crashed and I did not back up on CD or chip
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Capible for the complex

I have used TurboTax for years. I have a fairly complex return and it has guided me through the process with little research of the tax info in order to complete my return accurately.
What's great about it: Easy entry of data
What's not so great: The process is still long
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's not so great: Explanations are pretty much in the same legalese language as IRS publications which does not help much.
