Trying to report a glitch

I've used Turbo Tax for a number of years, and generally been quite happy. However, last year I did a rollover from a pension account to an IRA. Although I correctly entered the taxable amount (shown on my 1099B) as $0, Turbo Tax showed that I owed approximately 25% of the rollover amount in taxes - a huge amount! This despite the fact that I also correctly entered code G in box 7. Could not get Turbo Tax to show that this was not simply a payment from my retirement account until I cleared box 2a - after I had made a frantic call to the company handling the IRA and done considerable searching on the web. This rather reduces my confidence that my return is 100% correct - I'm sure it would have said that even if I had left it showing me with a huge tax bill. PLEASE FIX ASAP.
What's not so great: Glitch in handling rollovers to IRA - very stress-making!

Disappointed this year

I've used turbotax for years happily, but was disappointed this year. Past years, I felt turbotax better handled stock investments, particularly ESPP. This year, it seemed clumsy and awkward.
I also had difficulty getting it to properly download updates!

Great Tax Program!

Goes step by step to assist through a detailed interviewing process which goes through all income, deductions and all your possible tax filing scenarios.. Its like having a tax professional do your taxes at a fraction of the price.
What's great about it: Simplifies the process of filling taxes

Making life easy

Excellent experience this year. In prior years there have only been a few issues with my situation and it not being covered in the interview process. I had to manually go into forms to address these issues. Overall, TurboTax is a great self prep solution. Thank you.
What's great about it: Organized, thorough interview
What's not so great: Not a fan of the add-on purchases offered in the program, but that is TT's upsell

I love Turbo Tax (not taxes just the software) I do want to see a working or clock icon sometimes the delay was me not clicking next or TT was just working--wish I knew. Other than that it was awesome to behold!

User Experience Needs Improvement

Used Turbo Tax for years. It still has room to improve. Not happy how it double counts data. References forms that do not show up with the same numbers the previous. Their customer support is okay, would have appreciated the reps to be masters on taxes.
What's great about it: On-line, calculations all taken care off
What's not so great: Double counts NQS Option Sales; some of the questions on state taxes misleading; rental property and AMT not helpful

Very complicated for me this year, didn't understand the vocabulary, I'm not a tax pro, will pay someone to do this next year.
What's great about it: Cheap
What's not so great: complex this year, difficult to find answers, not sure if i did it right
