Love it

This is the third year I have used Turbo Tax. Easy to use whether you want to be prompted on every item or you want to manually enter values. Checks and double checks pointing out odd entries. Thought it was odd that when a person doesn't own 100% of a property it doesn't figure the percentage of all items. Some items are entered as the whole price and others as the percent you own. Not a big deal but have to read carefully or you will enter wrong values. Great for knowing all the new rules and regulations that apply to your situation without needing to read every new rule. Makes my life with investment properties much easier...THANK YOU!!!!
What's great about it: Seeing the previous year's values really helps
What's not so great: Doesn't take percentage of all values when you don't own 100% of a property

The county tax paid on my W2 was not paid to my county of residence (Harrision Co. IN) but was paid to the county where I work (Jefferson Co. KY), but your software mistakenly tried to give me credit on my Indiana state return. I was able to correct this with a manual override. Turbo Tax Online has the same problem, but there is no option to override with TurboTax Online.
What's great about it: Quick & easy
What's not so great: Error with county tax

Taking Pain out of Taxes

TurboTax has been around for decades! The software bugs have been thoroughly wiped out with updates applied before you start your return. I have never been audited in all my years of using TurboTax. The order of data entry is well organized for painless data gathering and entry. The questions asked are easy to understand and popup window help is one click away. I like the automated data gathering from your banks and investment companies, but you must have an online account and know your login information.
What's great about it: The questions and explanations are perfect in helping you to input the tax data, then everything is checked thoroughly.
What's not so great: I don't have a con against TurboTax. I have used it since it was first published and that is decades!

Another good tax season

I don't remember how many years in a row I have been using Turbo Tax. It makes assembling the information quick and easy. Navigating the screens is consistent year to year. I can easily backtrack to a specific topic if I need to revisit or add more info. I like the ability to tag topics for later input and confirmation.
What's great about it: guides you through each tax item with much detail as you want

Step by step

Your step by step approach takes me through every aspect of my taxes Fed & State. Automatically adding and subtracting and showing me my tax due or refund.
