Slow but Good

Overall is a good program, I don't know why they charge for the state tax return filling and an additional fee if collected from your own return.
What's great about it: It transfer your data from the previous year
What's not so great: The processing can be slow at times

Fairly easy to use, as always, but no smooth transition from one page/subject to the next.

The best Tax package on the market for individuals

I dont understand why people have others do their tax documents. When I had someone else do the submission, I had to gather everything and sort it and document it all, just the same as I have to do for myself when I do the Turbo Tax.
Yes it takes a few hours to enter all the data, but that is the easy part compared to the gathering of everything required, sorting the receipts and such. The medical is the big part now that my wife and I are older and it requires a big majority of the time spent in preparing to enter all the data. Other than that, Turbo Tax is SUPER.

What's great about it: Step by Step instructions
What's not so great: A few hic-cups, but works out.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Details Lowered My Bill

I have been using Turbo Tax for 16 years. Every year it gets better than the previous years. The entire interaction between the user and the entire software systems continually demonstrates confidence an assurance to all of the details that the IRS defines every category. Collect all of the tax papers sort them into numeric order by form. You input each and every form. It is extremely time consuming to select "View All" for every subject and every line. When it is finally complete go through the entire process again. Nothing gets erased by the system By double checking and triple checking you will get every deduction some of which are complete surprises. Then Turbo tax checks your return. Questionable or incomplete entries are brought to your attention so they can be corrected. Finally you can get audit support if you want. Then your return whether you get a refund or have to pay more taxes can be electronically filed. The security you go through is very detailed. I would rather go through the detail than get my identification(s) stolen. This is the best version of Turbo Tax I have used in 16 years. Thank You.
What's great about it: The explanations of each detail on every single form and subject through the help panels gives you a lot of confidence
What's not so great: The massive amount of detail available for every subject and detail is exhausting

Didn't pay a dime

A few years ago I did my taxes long hand. I read the new tax books, did investigative research, and labored for days. Those days are gone. TurboTax is a breeze. In fact it's so easy to use I actually enjoy doing my taxes. Don't tell my wife she thinks I'm a tax brain. Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: So very easy to use. I actually enjoyed doing my taxes.
What's not so great: Medical deductions were a challenge.
