turbotax format

Iv'e used turbotax for several years and was very pleased. This year you changed it and made it very hard to find were to enter figures. There are too many examples to explain. Please modify back to previous format. The problems are in investment areas.
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: format changed to bad

TurboTax Premier is an excellent tool for easily preparing taxes. The program methodically walks you through the process painlessly, but thoroughly. Support when needed is available on line or by call-in to talk to an expert if needed.

First Time User

I had one last question I needed an answer to. I tried to use the search function using a key word search and easily found the topic that I needed to review in the drop down options. However, when I clicked on the topic, nothing came back - the "ball" just kept spinning as if it were still searching. I tried several times - including shutting down my computer and re-starting. I was looking for an answer on options for handling my refund. I would never have thought to look in the location where I eventually found it. It would be great if there was a reminder during the filing process to give you an option there to roll your refund to the next year's taxes so you don't have to go back to the Other Taxes section.
What's great about it: Incredibly easy to use especially for a first time user.
What's not so great: Topic search to answer a question did not work

TurboTax has been our go-to tax filing operation for years. It is easy and thorough. We always feel secure that we have done all we could do to correctly report our information and file our taxes. At this point, we could not do the job on our own without TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy steps and easy return to what I was doing
What's not so great: Too many and too long update downloads

Generally very happy with Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years, probably as long as it has been available. My return is not simple, and a few years, it was very complex. But, Turbo Tax does a remarkably good job. My only complaint is that as the tax law gets more complex and obscure, I'm not getting a clear picture of the process any more. For instance, this year my safe estimates are 110% of the estimated tax that were due for 2015. I had to get our company accountant to explain why that is the case. Turbo Tax really should have explained that.

Great Product - Weak on fixing errors

Used Turbo Tax for years. Whether it is because the government is getting to detailed or Turbo Tax is not updating the software to handle changes it is sometimes difficult to get back to the screen to make corrections. Changing a state refund to apply it to next years return is a pain. On the Federal side there is a specific line item where you can easily change that issue.
What's great about it: Step by Step is very detailed
What's not so great: fixing errors is cumbersome
