Easy to use

Easy to use and complete. I wish there was a list of required documents up-front. The use of driver's license for ID is new and it would have been nice to have known about it......
What's great about it: It seems to include all items for tax entering
What's not so great: It would to be nice to have an index key in the step-by-stem to go to specific items

No call back

I have used TT for years and never need support till this year. Didn't ever get a call back. I still love the program.
What's great about it: It really is a great program
What's not so great: I logged on 3 time to get an answer to a question. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!!

Turbo Tax makes it easy...

I've been a Turbo Tax user since I can remember doing taxes and I've gone from being a SUPER simple tax return with no complications to owning several houses and having to calculate Gains/Losses on stocks and kids. Even with my complicated circumstances TT has walked me through and given me the most return I can get (I've checked against H&R and others).
What's great about it: Everything from the walkthrough of every possible deduction to the explanations of confusing entries.
What's not so great: It's not the BEST for super complicated returns involving Multi-State landlords, but it gets the job done.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I had a baby, I moved

More convenient than sliced bread

I have used TurboTax for MANY years. I wouldn't consider any of the others because I know what I am getting with TurboTax.
What's great about it: I am pleased with the ease of use.

Standing Still

Have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years. Feel interface continues to degrade. Is not as user friendly and clear as it was several years ago. Survey ignores retired status.
What's great about it: its deductable, covers all issues. accurate
What's not so great: Import process- no prompting, investment calculations (margin interest),

Excellent alerts on other possible requirements

As the tax law becomes more and more involved, TurboTax does an excellent job of staying on top of issues, positions and possibilities. We have used TurboTax for the last 8 years. This year we had a new financial situation. TurboTax walked us through it perfectly. In fact, your program alerted us to the possibility we might need to file an out of state, county requirement. Thank you for exceeding our expectations once again! We will continue to use TurboTax in the future. And recommend your packages to friends and family.

I works for me

I have used Turbo Tax for 7 years now, and it works as well as can be expected. Every year, there are some questions that are confusing, This year, on the "Retirement Contributions" page, it asked about "retirement distributions" from 2013 to 2016, which was weird, so I skipped it.
What's great about it: moastly easy
What's not so great: some confusing questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
