Simple

Excellent experience. I was done in a very short amount of time and e filed and that was that.
What's great about it: TurboTax is rock solid and easy to use
What's not so great: None that I can think of

It just keeps getting better!

I have used Turbo Tax for about the last 6 years now and this year's product is absolutely the best. (Premier Edition) I was frustrated with it about 3 years ago and considered not using it again however, it improves every year. I love the audit defense option even though I've never had to use it. I've used different editions of the product when I owned a house, and before I owned a home. Also after losing a home. This program makes it easy if you keep your financial information ready at hand.
What's great about it: This program gets more informative each year. I've used turbo tax for the last 6 years and it improves each year.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Worse than all previous versions

After saving and e-filing, the software claimed I needed to enter additional values from IT-2105.9 before transmitting. The software froze, so I went back to refile, but this time around it transmitted without asking the same question.
Additionally, for some reason there's no zoom or text-size functionality (the option in Preferences to change form size does nothing)
What's great about it: None, compared to previous versions
What's not so great: Faulty software, no zoom/text-size option

Investments done easy!

Had some big changes in our investments this year, but Turbo Tax Premier was clear where everything needed to be entered. Only problem - none of the investment companies we use were available for direct importing of the information. Thank goodness for error check, it caught all the redundant boxes that I forgot to fill in each time. With multiple accounts to enter from each brokerage, there was an endless amount of redundant typing of the same numbers.
Find a way to make "cut & paste" available when entering those number manually!

Turbo Tax Premier

Turbo Tax Premier is a wonderful product. It makes my annual tax work so much easier than I could imagine. Keep improving! Maybe some day it will import everything and I will just have to review and hit SEND!

What's not so great: Has a tiny bit of trouble with foreign addresses.

Filing Made Fairly Easy!

As I've gotten older, my income tax filing has become fairly complicated due to K-1's and my spouses RMD from the IRA she inherited. If you follow the interview instructions and know how to read forms, it's not that hard to fill in the information into the right places.
What's great about it: Good step by step instructions, easy to follow
What's not so great: None that I know of, unless I get audited.

Disappointed

I found the online version much harder than the CD version I used last year. It seemed like the highlighted words should have opened a window when clicked on, but they did not. I had to type my questions in each time. Also, I was asked the same questions over and over again when I went back to check that prior entries were correct. My last years return did not import automatically either! After using TurboTax to prepare my returns since 2010, I am seriously considering finding another option for next year.

Good product

Turbo Tax is easy to use. I own a number of rental properties, and this software makes it really easy to capture everything that is required. It also saves me a lot of money over having my returns prepared at one of the big name tax preparation services.
What's great about it: Makes tax prep a breeze
What's not so great: At times is confusing--some things could use a little more explanation.
