Great product

This is a good product that is easy to use and I have used it for more than 5 years.
What's great about it: Easy because it walks you through all areas. Reading is all it takes.
What's not so great: Sometimes it takes a little time to figure out what it asking for so having an accounting background was helpful.

I used to go to a "tax man" until I saw him sitting with a computer and filling in all of the information off the sheets I brought to the meeting. When I realized that I had done the hard part and he was just filling in the blanks I decided to give it a try myself. That was 1997. The program has only gotten better over the years and I haven't looked back.
What's great about it: Program has gotten easier over the years
What's not so great: It would still help to be familiar with tax laws

GREAT to USE

I've been using TURBO Tax for many years and enjoy the ease to import and add when necessary. RECENTLY RETIRED and was concerned about pension information; Only my distribution was TAXABLE!! I've NEVER been audited!!

Absolutely a breeze

I am a small business owner who has to reconcile earnings from salary and dividends from investments. Turbo Tax allows you to see where are your deductions and to make better decisions. Also, the software takes as much information from the previous year to pre-populate your forms.
What's great about it: walks you thru from previous years
What's not so great: may be a little confusing with so many questions

Can get into a loop during error checking process. Records data and does not fully update. Especially problematic with K-1. I will continue to use TurboTax as long as I can.
What's great about it: Automated interview process
What's not so great: stores erroneously entered data

Other than the hassle to have to do taxes every year, Turbo Tax has accurately done my taxes for many years. it helps me from making foolish mistakes.
