Tax Calculations

Enjoyed using TurboTax but I still stress over the correctness of the forms. I realize it runs calculations and says no errors found but how do trust it. I am still untrusting of the program because it does not talk to you and verbally explain its reasoning.
What's great about it: Makes sure all mathmatical issues are calculated correctly.
What's not so great: Not explained completed in lay words.

I have used Turbo Tax now for many years and each time during tax season, my approach to taxes is not as intimidating as in the past. Appreciate the upgrades.

What's not so great: Navigating back to review or correct

Makin' it much easier

Love the product. There is no darn way I could do this on my own due to investments and rental property and an accountant wants to charge entirely too much. While I stand firm that playing the tax game is too darn complicated in this country, I can say that Turbo tax makes it tolerable!
What's great about it: Gives options to skip the fluff

a little confusing this year

I had lots of extra questions this year and found you could not go backwards in the interview process once the file is saved (only forward). SO read each item carefully.

What's not so great: cant back up easily in the interview process

Double Checks for Best Refund

TurboTax is a great tool to file taxes yourself. The best part is that it automatically checks your work, and will alert you if a section needs further attention. I also enjoy the ability to save work and return at a later date, making it easy to do my taxes on my time.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step Instructions, Thurough Checks
