I have used Turbo tax for years. It is by far best software available for preparing tax returns.
What's great about it: Easy. Complete. Error proof.
What's not so great: Fine print when asking questions.

Have used Turbo Tax since it's inception. It never disappoints. Easy to navigate and keeps up with current tax law.

easy software

I've been using TurboTax for years. Once it's loaded, everything transfers from previous year. Investment info can be imported easily from financial institutions. You just fill in your current info from W2;s. 1099's, etc
What's great about it: everything is based on clear prompts

This was my first time filing our taxes being an homeowner and itemizing our deductions. Turbo Tax made it too easy, and I am bummed we didn't use this before. I would have saved so much money!!!
What's great about it: I liked having the "Learn More" link to explain what information was needed
What's not so great: I have no Cons to report

I hope that Intuit can fix the glitches in its software because I feel that the price did not match the experience, which was very frustrating. I am very disappointed in the experience this time around.
What's great about it: In general the information is heplful and accurate
What's not so great: The software keeps locking up on me so I have to resart every time.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
