2015 Tax Return Experience

As experienced yearly, TT brought good feelings of being able to shorten the agony of income/expense reporting for tax return purposes. I enjoy said reporting through Turbo Tax. I have expressed my feelings to friends and relatives for the purpose of having them experience what I have had!
Great product, may I say!
What's great about it: It was completely enjoyable
What's not so great: Sad it only happens once a year!

Easy and Complete

Being able to download the financial information (and that Turbo Tax has a partnership with those financial companies) made report capital gains, etc. extremely easy. It took me one evening for the federal, and 2 states, and I hardly yelled at my husband at all. Easy, complete, and understandable -- what more can I say?
What's great about it: I could dowload info from my financial advisor, w2, etc.
What's not so great: paying to efile to New Jersey (but that might be Jersey's fault

Tax Filing Painless

Had no problems. Very easy to understand. Wasn't expecting a refund but got one. Have been using Turbo Tax for 3 years now and it just gets better. Thanks for making tax filing painless.

Less satisfied than previous years

The product was similar to previous years, but I was unhappy to see the price of e-filing the state had gone up 25% since last year. I was also unhappy with the price of adding an additional state, since I moved last year. It was nearly the same price I paid for the federal + state + federal e-file package and didn't include e-filing. I found the navigation to be more complex. I recall there being a way to return to a previous entry, change it, and go back to the last position. But I couldn't find it this year. Also, when I opened it for the second day it began asking me questions that it hadn't asked when I went thru it the first time - like info for Box 14 on a 1099-R which didn't have a Box 14... And banking info, signature info when I hadn't gotten to the filing portion yet.
What's great about it: similar to previous years; like the option of selecting only the categories that I know apply.
What's not so great: difficult to navigate; asked questions out of sequence
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

I have used your software since it was first made available, always E Filing with excellent results. I don't ever want to go back to the old fashioned way of US Mail!
