Easy filing

The TurboTax did well again, I've used this for 10 plus years and have been satisfied. Seemed faster this year.
What's great about it: Copied last year's info into this years
What's not so great: HSA calculations

Federal was fine but found a few quirks with the AR state return especially ya allocating income or investment income between my wife and myself
What's great about it: Fast with helpful pull downs
What's not so great: Could not allocate income from an annuity between my wife and I
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

It is simple

I think there should be a Premier addition that doesn't include a State return if you live in states that don't require a tax return for the majority of people. Florida has no income tax but it keeps asking you to file a return. This shouldn't be......
What's great about it: Easy to use and wonderful if you need to download data
What's not so great: Keeps bugging you to file a state tax return when you are a FL resident

Turbo Tax is Awesome

This is the third year that I have used Turbo Tax. I have investments and have reached the 70 1/2 age for the necessity of RMD impacting my 2015 return. At my age, still feel comfortable completing my own returns. In 2014, I had to amend my returns (due to an error by my former employer) and Turbo Tax had an excellent, accurate, simple electronic process in place to accomplish my amended return. Thank you!
What's great about it: migration of investments, ease of navagation, completness of the forms, the whole enchilada.
What's not so great: My experience was con free

Every year Turbo Tax seams to figure out what were complications from pervious years and fixes them. The ease with downloading information from Brokers and Banks has improved. Many less errors to fix than in the years past.
Turbo Tax's guide through the process makes anyone's filing easier.
What's great about it: Get's easier every year
What's not so great: Always looking for more detail
