Had a Trust to deal with this year

I enjoyed using this product ... this must be close to twenty years...that I have used Turbo Tax....seems like it anyway.
I like the way Turbo Tax ask you...are you sure about that??....
What's great about it: Lead me right through the trust no issuses

fast & easy

have used turbotax for about the last 5 years. prior to that I prepared my own returns manually. every year doing my returns using turbotax seems to take less and less time. what used to take me days to do manually, I can now complete in a couple of hours.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Though a little pricey, the software is very easy to use. I've used it for many years and love the way the information transfers from year to year.
What's great about it: Really easy to use - I've used this product for years.
What's not so great: Would be nice if we could get a free state efile with as much as we pay for the software.

Gets better every year

OK...love your TV commercials about how easy it is to do your taxes. Very funny.
I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years so by now I feel fairly comfortable/confident about doing my own returns. You improve the user experience and interace every year (thank you!!). TurboTax seems to me to be easier and faster to use...even though my returns have gotten more complex as time went on. This year's version is the best yet.
I think someone who's never done their own return before might not find it so easy unless they already have a a basic understanding of the process and a fairly simple, uncomplicated return.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and use; the user interface is uncluttered and intuitive

Been using Turbo Tax for many years. Never had a problem with the IRS.
What's great about it: The walk you thru it mode is great and very easy

Fixes seem to have been made in the MA State filing for actual wages vs taxable wages. This is a big fix as I have paid for electronic filing in 2013 & 14 and they failed both times. I had to submit paper copies.

Terrible Turbo

I could not get the rent and royalty to go on separate schedule E's. It was like I was in a loop and kept coming right back to the same thing. I don't know what I did to make it go thru but it finally did and I'm thankful but disappointed with turbo tax because when I went to the support site there were at least nine people that had the same problem. Turbo Tax should have fixed this glitch sooner.
What's great about it: It still is a great program
What's not so great: Rents/Royalties
