Problems

The IRS has rejected my submission, probably because, while my wife and I have been married for thirty-seven years +, she has a different last name from mine. When I file by mail I always enclose a letter of explanation and the refund comes.
BUT I paid for the state e-file and that will not work either. So, when will I receive a refund for that?

I am using turbotax for 6 years. starting when I had only W2 on my filing. I have lot more now..turbo tax has very good step by step instruction. online forums and discussion helps a lot too. you dont need to be tax professional to use turbo tax. Turbo tax will find how you will get maximum deduction. It has all different categories to go through.

Responsive and On Point!

This year's (tax yr 2015) Turbo Tax was exceptionally helpful. Intuit and the TT team responded to all questions authoritatively, accurately, precisely and responsively! It was a difficult tax year, but, got me through it.

I like Turbo Tax and will use it in the future. I have only 1 negative comment --- After going thru all review checks for missing data / accuracy of return and all corrections were made. Then when you are 1 button away from e-filing the federal return --- it says wait we have some missing information we need to gather that was not found in the initial review above. Seems like it should have been identified in the initial review.

If you have to deal with this paper fiasco every year, go with Turbo Tax!

Printing Problems

When trying to print a hard copy to Mail, the program went into a circle. First I got a pop-up wanting to save as a PDF file. After doing that, and pressing Continue, it went directly to Print a Copy for My Records. After several attempts I found I had to go back and select Print Preview to get it to work with the right selection of pages required for filing. Very frustrating. I don't recall this problem in prior years.
