Had some hard questions

Had trouble with some income statements, esp is an annuity a RMD? The answer is yes but it doesn't make sence.

Return somewhat more complicated due to move, retirement, and buying a house. Input went smoothly without any concerns.

What's not so great: Couldn't find page to change California refund details. I e-filed as I first entered the data. No harm done!

What's not so great: could not fix error on form 8863 line 23 to mark the box YES. It only could mark it NO

Don't buy Canadian stocks or Shell oil

Used to be able to enter on ONE line the amount of foreign tax paid, but not this year. How complicated can you make it?
What's great about it: Carry data forward from year to year
What's not so great: Nightmare of getting credit for foreign taxes
