TurboTax was and is a winner!

Being retired, my income varies from Social Security and Investment returns. TurboTax has for years been able to take care of all the changes in the Tax Code and ensure I have an accurate return. So far, knock on wood, i have not been audited and the IRS would not find anything amiss if they did one.
What's great about it: So easy to use and handles all the complications i face
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The more you use it (year after year) the more you learn and the less fear you have at completing tour taxes.
What's great about it: Step by step.

Over all good, but the links to supporting detail, eg charitable contributions details is missing.
I had difficulty finding IRS instructions for the various forms.
What's not so great: The links to supporting details is no longer available and are not indicated as existing..

I use this every year and have never had an issue. It's precise and easy to understand. Always cross my fingers won't be audited, which is why I like the audit check risk indicator.
What's great about it: quick, easy
What's not so great: none

LOOP

I HAD 4 VERY MINOR CHANGES TO MAKE. THEY INVOLVED K-1S. I MADE THE CHANGES SEVERAL TIMES AND KEPT GETTING ASKED QUESTIONS WHICH PREVENTED ME FROM E FILING. THERE OUGHT TO BE A WAY TO JUST E-FILE AFTER THE FOURTH ATTEMPTED CHANGE. A SOFTWARE LOOP HAS TO HAVE A BREAKOUT MECHANISM.

I had to pay for e filing my state return. Why would you have free state download and not filing is a cheap way of getting a little extra payment. This is making me think twice about next year.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: I had to pay for my state filing, I thought it was included

usually good, but several glitches this year

I have used TurboTax for years, but this year it abruptly shut down several times and also required a positive number on one form, where my number was negative. I finally just had to enter "1" to get the "error" from recurring. Would recommend with reservations.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use
What's not so great: shut down abruptly several times

I could not do Taxes without Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Ease of Transfer of Investment data
What's not so great: Need bit more specifics on "errors"
Pros: I bought or sold investments
