Been using since the 1990's - lost without it

While I am a CPA, I am not a tax accountant. Turbo tax makes filing your taxes easy. I really have no idea why any private party pays anyone to do their taxes - just use easy step.
What's great about it: easy walk through, tax impact window great tool

I wish "Its Deductible" would record and import cost of TurboTax software and filing fees.

It is a good title

Its easy to remember each year I just get the Premier and it takes care of everything we do. If you ever change it I will have to read about it and decide if it does what I want to use it for. Were as now I know that the Premier is a trusted one for over 10 years that I have used.
What's great about it: Its easy to remember each year what to get
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Like using GPS

Turbotax is like using GPS. With GPS I follow the directions and go where it tells me. I do not need to understand why GPS is giving these instructions but it gets me where I want to go. Turbotax does my taxes but I am not always sure how the data that was imputed gets the results that I am seeing.
Maybe more information why certain deductions result in taxes owned / refunded.

it's unfair that state efiling is not included in price of software.

The ability to drill down into the federal forms to clarify things for the state return was invaluable. Turbotax's logo should be a knight in shining armor!

Easy to prepare my taxes. Not sure I did all work at end, How do I save return>? Can I retrieve return from Turbotax or is it only in my computer
