Once I got it loaded, I was fine. I wish you could have still supported Windows XP, as I had to buy a new laptop. I had more trouble with Microsoft than you can shake a stick at. I tried upgrading my desktop with 7.1, twice, and 10, twice, with no success at all. I couldn't get either version downloaded, or from disc/USB!
What's great about it: Pretty simple and straightforward, even better than 2014's K-1 forms!
What's not so great: None

With TurboTax, you have every tool at your disposal to get your return complete, accurate, and ensured to have approached all the deductions a filer may qualify for. A great product for the money!
What's great about it: Keeps the forms up to date, explains each topic, walks you through every topic

I made a mistake when I incorrectly entered a 1099 under a 1099-misc. I removed all that the software would allow, but I could not remove the blank form. Be cause of this it would not let me e-file. I tried to get help to correct the problem with no response. The software also locked up on me 5 times trying to use it.

By the time one has gathered all the information for preparing your taxes, you might as well go to this software and save the cost of using a professional. He/she will be using this or a similar product anyway.The software is easy to follow. Sometimes the updates would hang. You should save you inputs often. Occasionally, the "learn more"s would hang and I had to force quit three times.
What's great about it: Holds you by the hands all the way through. Information is available at every step.
What's not so great: The "learn more"s hung up often, wouldn't clear and I had to force quit 3 times during the process.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I don't understand why more people don't try this out rather than paying $$$. Even my 12 year old granddaughter could figure it out!

I ALWAYS USE TURBO TAX TO FILE MY RETURNS AND SOME YEARS ARE MORE DIFFICULT THAN OTHERS DUE TO CHANGES IN TAX LAWS THAT SPECIFICALLY APPLY TO MY FAMILY AND I HAVE TO RESEARCH THEM....BUT THIS YEAR WAS PRETTY DANG EASY. I HIGHLY RECOMMED USING TURBO TAX AND DOING THE EXTRA LEG WORK FOR YOUR SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES IF NECESSARY....I KNOW I WILL!
What's great about it: SO EASY TO FOLLOW
What's not so great: SO EASY TO FOLLOW
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

software easy to load and work through. help screens are a plus. need more instruction on moving data file to remote storage device and get the data file off of main hard drive
What's great about it: easy to follow. help screens. option to key myself or be prompted
What's not so great: instructions on how to save file to a remote loacation and remove from hard drive
