So EASY and better refunds

This is my third year filing both Federal and State using the TurboTax Premier version as we have rental properties, an LLC and Trusts that require extra forms. The first year I was terrified but no longer wanted to pay our CPA hundreds of dollars, so I took a leap of faith and have never looked back. I am 60+, a housewife and do NOT understand the new CORE math! Point being, if I say that TurboTax is easy, it is EASY. They hold your hand the entire time, check your work and look for ALL the deductions you are entitled to. We pay quarterly taxes and TurboTax even figures that out for you and supplies the forms to print out. I highly recommend TurboTax and they find larger returns for me than our CPA ever did.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, step by step guidance, help with questions and with forms needed. Cheaper to do it yourself.
What's not so great: Took a bit of time to answer a couple of questions, but it IS crunch time and they are really busy.

Pain free

It took me about 3 hours to file but it was painless. One year I used a CPA the next year I used TurboTax. I made about the same amount each year and my living/family arrangements hadn't changed, so I expected a similar tax return amount the year I used TurboTax. I did get a similar amount to the one calculated by the CPA, so I think TurboTax is pretty accurate...at least for uncomplicated tax situations like mine. (Single, no dependents, no investments, etc)
What's great about it: Easy to use, step-by-step cleat instructions

My wife and I were dismissed from our tax preparer last year for having strange items (sorry, foreign adoption tax credit is NOT that odd and he didn't know about it!) Decided to try TurboTax and it worked well. We found two things weren't as we were expecting; after a bit of careful reading, we found that we had entered incorrect information at one point (I didn't ready quite carefully enough) and the other problem was based on W-2 information that we didn't expect (comes from importing data directly). Still, it worked very well; a few hours of work and we saved a good bit of money!
What's great about it: It can do more obscure forms easily!
What's not so great: A bit hard to figure out one or two prompts...

Great product used since the first Macntax edition

Used software since first release of MACNTAX software. Have had very few problems. Intuitive program. More useful as each year progresses.
What's great about it: import data, tax forms, time saving, answers, insite, review, edit, e-file
What's not so great: I do data entry

Helped Me w/K-1

I love Turbo Tax. I used a new version this year because I was a beneficiary and received a K-1 form, about which I knew very little. I was able to download information from my financial advisor, which I have never had before, enabling me to move through some of the areas rather quickly. I didn't have to enter each stock or mutual fund information - it was done for me! Thank you, thank you. I read over the forms after having completed taxes, and realized how cumbersome this whole process is, and would be, if I had to all of this manually. Thank you, again.
What's great about it: Walked me through a new and different tax situation
What's not so great: Unable to "see instructions"

I still think I didn't get everything input correctly. Not sure I got all the entitled deductions.
I sold company stock this year, and I could not really understand the terminology used between turbo tax and UBS. UBS was no help either in deciphering their form. A suggestion would be to have example forms used by major investment houses mapped to Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Sets up everything for filing electronically
What's not so great: Investment section still too technical for me to understand
