Taxes Made Almost Painless

Once again, TurboTax has created an efficient and almost painless way for millions of Americans to file taxes. For those of us who owe taxes, I find the electronic payment options to be very convenient. Maybe I'll get a refund next year...

Great, but.....

Overall, the program is very well-constructed and easy to use. However, when one comes to some complicated issues, like those involving a K-1 partnership form, the instructions aren't specific enough. The problem could be solved by reviewing some of the questions that your users have posted on this subject and creating an online reference page, including a video. Users could go to this to see how, for example, to create separate worksheets if you own shares of a partnership that has income from both a business and real-estate rentals. Right now, it's pure guesswork.
What's great about it: Comprehensive, easy to use

Ohio City taxes are not correct again

Income on RITA taxes doubled so tax Liability is incorrect. This is not a new problem. Intuit continues to ignore the miscalculations.
What's great about it: Federal Taxes are fine
What's not so great: Local RITA taxes not calculated correctly

What's great about it: Easy to use and gives all info needed to feel confindent that you correctly filed your returns
What's not so great: Sometimes the stock stuff was hard to transfer

Have been using TurbioTax for at least 10 years.
What's great about it: comprehensive; e-filing Federal Return free; easy to edit
What's not so great: State Tax filing is not free

Filing Taxes as Easy as 1-2-3

With all documents in hand, filing my federal return took less than 90 mins. Definitely recommend everyone to use Turbo Tax for filing.
What's great about it: Easy instructions and very user friendly program.
