your product has become more annoying at filing time over the years. just charge at purchase time and make filing free. entering credit info 3 times also bites
What's great about it: tax package is easy as always
What's not so great: special fees at end
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall, Turbotax is wonderful! It provides you the step-by-step guidance so you feel very confident that the information you input is accurate. And it doesn't take too much time! I have been a loyal Turbotax fan and will continue to use it in the years to come. Thank you for making the ITR filing e-process so easy and convenient!
What's great about it: Has step-by-step guidance, takes the guesswork out
What's not so great: A few items aren't too clear, need to look up to further understand if you qualify or not

poor changes to turbo tax

when they changed from deluxe tot premium it was made much more difficult to work with and was not good for either program. as a long time user it just changed and not for the better

Okay but there are still unresolved problems

1. Years old problem - cannot make an entry on line 20 of schedule M of Illinois return. Because of this I could not utilize Turbo Tax for my Illinois return
2. Form 8582 will not carry forward passive activity losses after a rental property is converted to personal use. These losses will be needed when the property is sold, maybe many years from now, but 8582 deletes them when the property is converted to personal use.
What's great about it: Efficient downloading of information from outside sources
What's not so great: Problems with Illinois return and passive activity losses

Some screens long delays getting responses.
Some screens do not respond to mouse clicks to confirm data entries.
In general the guidance is very good.
Software forces you to consider taking advantage of deductions you might not have considered.
