TT worked much better than last year's Foo Pah's with the software.
Handled IRA Rollovers well. Took awhile to figure out that the laws changed to 1 rollover a year but TT handled it correctly.
There was some bad advice on the answers about bad debt. Apparently writers were referring to other versions than I had. However knowing it was possible to handle bad debt much more searching revealed how to do it in my version.

Absolutely Great Product

This was the best year yet. It continues to be east and fast. Absolutely no problem moving from old laptop to new with just a previous PDF copy of last year's return copied to new machine. I highly recommend TurboTax!!!!

Thorough But Quick

There is no better tool for doing your own taxes than Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Can jump around from form to form with the greatest of ease
What's not so great: Still not as "intuitive" as I'd like it to be

Love Turbo Tax

I have saved so much money over the years by using Turbo Tax. Using Turbo Tax lets me see how to plan for my taxes for the next year.
What's great about it: Step by step info
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I was really thrilled by the information and details under "learn more". It helped me figure out if I qualified or didn't. I love how it does all the calculating, and gives options for things you didn't know about. I think there has been some great programmers hired for this project who have done a great job!
What's great about it: It was accessible to the layperson.
What's not so great: I couldn't find an exemption I needed for Health Care plans.

Smoother this year than the past few years

What's great about it: imports had cost basis right and only one thing needed to go back and correct
What's not so great: was difficult to figure out how to verify details of 1099Bs, and weren't able to import our W-2 information

What's not so great: after buying the software you still have to pay to e-file that's too much. E-filing should be free
