Been using TT for 10 year, love it

I have gone through tax training for several services and by far this is the easiest way to file. I have compared returns from services verses Turbotax and I get the same refund results either way but Turbotax is cheaper.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: sometimes it takes you through irrelevant question paths
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

In the future, Intuit could REALLY help customers by generating an add-on feature that people could use to either plan or check the impact from various events that might occur during the year.
One example: You might decide to close one IRA and open a new one. As you go through the process, the TurboTax program could give you key guidance that would help you in your tax return for next year, while... 1) capturing key information, and 2) identifying tax consequences you would be facing depending upon what actions you take. For just a few $ more, it could save customers a lot of cost and headaches when doing their following year's tax return. Short videos could be useful too.
What's great about it: Better than last year in many ways.... the BEST add-on is the Flag option (to come BACK again to the saved spot)... YEAH
What's not so great: Intuit should provide a separate "search" engine to find items contained WITHIN your return as you are processing.

Still the BEST!!

Been using for over 15 years with no problems. Each year the need to make corrections after review has reduced to one on the Federal return and 2 on the Arizona return. Like the option of purchasing audit guard and the features of it. Never had to use it but still like the security of it.
What's great about it: Step by step, easy to enderstand, help information for Federal returns
What's not so great: No help lines for State returns, confusing corection needed on Capital Gains information. State efile is pricey.

Turbo Tax continues to do a great job!

I've used Turbo Tax for 16 or 18 years and have never had a problem. It has gotten more user-friendly over the years.
What's great about it: Ease of use, Walk thru
What's not so great: Sometimes waits until the end to warn of a problem better caught on the page where the problem originated.

My tax headache relief

Anything to do with accounting gives me a major pain, but TurboTax has once again made tax filing about as simple and painless as it can be.
And "fear of mistakes" is another thing i avoid with TurboTax. Tax laws are WAY COMPLICATED and I did NOT want to mess up and invite an audit. But I'm confident I got everything right... TurboTax seems to be very thorough in the review process.
Tax time is never like "boom-boom-done", but using TurboTax sure beat the heck out of going it alone.

What's not so great: Higher price; also, higher fee for State Return e-filing
