I have used turbo tax for over 10 years. I like the fact it imports last years info. It has always been easy to navigate and understand.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED
What's great about it: great explainations, easy to navigate

Marriage Renewal

This year marks the 27th year we have used Turbo Tax to do our Federal, Arizona and Hawaii state tax returns. We live in Washington state and have rentals that need supported returns from the Federal return. The details are relatively easy to enter as the questionnaire is fairly clear in all sections. However, detailed data needs to be transferred from the Federal return to the appropriate state return. In some instances, the state software program "invites" the client to research the Federal forms ( such as Schedule "E") for aportioned information. I would have hoped yhat since the information is individually input by site by state that the software would be able to extract that data on its own.
The "E-Filing " process was reaitively painless but it seems a bit expensive given the hands off process.
What's great about it: Ease of data entry and navigation
What's not so great: Transfer of appropriate information to State Returns

Smooth and Painless

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and every year it works smoother than the year before. I am very loyal and will keep using every year. This is the benchmark for tax software!

Worked well i think, not totally confident i did everything correctly even though the return said i did.
What's great about it: easy to work through
What's not so great: Certain complexities associated with retiree withdrawals from qualified and unqualified accounts

Greatest tool ever

I have been using Turbo Tax for so long I don't remember the first time I bought it. It always makes a difference. It helps to identify things I may have forgot, and in some cases now have to go get. Never had a problem and I am glad to have it help me every year.
What's great about it: It asks all the questions so there is nothing missed.
What's not so great: None, everything is great!!!!

fast and easy

concise questions, good explanations, comprehensive approach. I wish TT would have a "smart" function that would alert and prevent you from filling things out that you don't qualify for (ie. certain deductions) rather than letting you go through the motions only to be disappointed. other than that, 5 stars.
What's great about it: straightforward
What's not so great: could have alerts to skip needless sections
