Another year another great experience

I'v been using Turbo Tax for close to twenty years and haven't had any problems
What's great about it: step by step procedures
What's not so great: the button to advance should be at the top of the page so you don't have to scroll down
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Why do people use these tax services year after year?? Turbo tax ... I'm intuit. Love it. And even gets cheaper yearly!!!
What's great about it: Held all my info from the last few years and compares them. Gets easier every year.
What's not so great: Nothing here for the cons people.

Quick and Easy

I have been using turbo tax for many years. I have always had great success and confidence in the product, and it's accuracy. I just think they should offer a better discount for returning customers. I can usually find it cheaper in the store than buying direct. This is always disappointing. And I think the state filing is too high.
What's great about it: Good questions, Great review of previous years.
What's not so great: Cost for efile state continues to rise.

Without Mich form 4884 many Mich retirees may be paying way too much in taxes
What's great about it: Wouldnt use anything else
What's not so great: Does not automatically include Mich form 4884 !!!!

Not happy

In response to can't find PDF, I put PDF in file after file only to get the same message over and over- can't find PDF, don't know why. Never had a problem making copies in prior years. I would like to continue using Turbo Tax in the future, but I have no desire to deal with this problem again. If you have a solution, please advise.
What's great about it: have used TurboTax for years -never a problem
What's not so great: could not get copies of return

Could Improve the 1099 Data Entry

The program would not load my consolidated brokerage 1099 forms from Wells Fargo so I had to enter all the data line by line for the form 8949. It only gives you three lines for transactions and then you have to add lines one at a time. And, every time you add a line it takes you to the top of the page, losing your place on the screen, and forcing you to scroll down to find where you were. The number of mouse click and scrolling to enter the data for this form could be seriously improved.
What's great about it: Very thorough and detailed.
What's not so great: Manual data entry very cumbersome
