Barely improves on error prone 2014

Finishing errors were evident in 2014 version - but NOT FIXED FOR THE 2015 VERSION - even after repeated and exhaustive documentation and complaints!
What's great about it: Entry for income and expense is good/easy
What's not so great: Finishing is filled with errors - AGAIN (same as 2014). Acquiring e-file pin is impossible. Can't preview or print

turbo tax a dissappointment

taxes from form 1127(nyc) was included in taxes on state return.
form 1127 was not completely designed. deductions have to be manually entered.
no way of correcting out 1127 taxes included in state return other than manual.

The trick to using this software is to have all your information together before starting. For example, if you have 3 pages of
Medical expenses, Have them totaled before you start. It might be helpful to have a "primmer" telling how to diviede these out (ie: "drug copays", "physicians services", "Physical therapy", "Eyeglasses" etc.}.
Other than that, it is pretty much fill-in-the-blanks

What's great about it: The system is easy to use, very complete to the point of overkill.. Does a faster way through it.
What's not so great: Expensive. Discountd cost of 90.00 seems expensive.

I'm angry! Could not e-file--- as I have for many years, because of your error (I assume). Got the error message: "EF Interview Converter Bcchmi has too many characters." Tried re-keying personal entries but still got error message. You should have corrected this! And you should have provided more info about the problem before I entered the data and prepared to e-file. Grrrr.I have used this software before it was TurboTax and I am extremely disappointed this year.

Transmittal Delayed!

Near the end of filing, I obtained a form bearing the title "IRS electronic Filing PIN". Since it additionally bore the IRS logo, I thought I was looking at an uploaded IRS form - not a TurboTax form. Thinking this was an IRS response, I thought my return had been accepted by IRS. I only found out that something was wrong after 6 weeks of no response and went through the process again - this time successfully and all the way. I love TurboTax products and have used them for decades; I will continue to do so because they are user-friendly and accurate. I guess one complaint out of 40(?) years is not too bad!
What's great about it: Generally User-friendly
What's not so great: Obtaining and use of IRS electronic Filing PIN very confusing

This is my 3rd year using TurboTax. I like doing it myself because with your help, I feel confident that I am getting all the bases covered and making use of all my deductions.
