Great tax tool

I have used Turbo tax for years and gone from simple, to rental property, and sale of rental property. The software is great and has met my needs year after year.
What's great about it: You can get as little or much help section by section as needed.
What's not so great: Leaving the main menu to EDIT, once complete should position you back to that line on the main menu

TurboTax is Excellent but paying fee by credit car

I wanted to pay for my e-file state return fee by credit card. To get the confirmation number by e-mail requires shutting down the intuit screen to be able to open my e-mail file to get to the "confirm your intuit account" confirmation code. When I brought the TurboTax file back up, it would not accept the confirmation code. I did this twice. Then I did it by cell phone and it went ok because the request for confirmation code screen was still up when the cell phone text message arrive in a few seconds.
What's great about it: The tax software itself is Excellent
What's not so great: Required confirmation # by e-mail does not work

Lump Sum Payment

My husband received a lump sum payment with portions that needed to credited back over 2 years. Right off Kay spotted that I had entered his pension information incorrectly. She then over the course of several days helped to correct the several years of tax returns to reflect the corrections needed for the reclamation of taxes paid. This involved not only Federal, but State forms as well. The Federal was a little more obvious, but the State required research to determine policy. In the end Kay informed us that we were going to be able to recover State overpaid taxes. She even helped with the writing of the letter necessary to file with the State return. We have been using Turbo Tax for many, many years and this was the first time we have had to use the "Contact Us" portion. I will not hesitate to use this feature, if necessary, in the future.

Quick and Easy

This is my 10th year at using turbo tax. It has been getting easier and quicker each year.
What's great about it: Moving through the screens is very easy. Help was informative
