Good job, Turbo Tax

Working my taxes with Turbo Tax takes much of the fear and pressure out of the process. It is so helpful and encouraging to be guided step by step, figure by figure, as the tax compilation goes through each topic. Thanks for the encouragement that my taxes are done correctly. And the refund is icing on the cake!!
What's great about it: The questions were very complete and made me feel that all the necessary information would be included.
What's not so great: Sometimes the information seemed repetitious, but also seemed like it would help me not miss something needed.

Easy to use

Will buy again have used TurboTax Premier for the last 10 years.
What's great about it: Once started it went real fast
What's not so great: Better steps needed for foreign stock transaction from stock broeekage firms

Good, but not perfect

I had to enter all the basic info manually this year, because Turbo Tax did not find our return from last year on our computer. It is there, right above the icon for THIS year's return. Other than that fairly tedious inconvenience, another good tax prep experience.
What's great about it: easy to use and familiar from previous uses
What's not so great: Turbo Tax did not find last year's return on my computer

Using TurboTax for over 20 years, I really appreciate this evolving product. Despite my complex tax situation, it just gets easier and easier to file my taxes. Over my long partnership with TurboTax the IRS queried me only once.
What's great about it: Professional, efficient, and no glitches - appreciate the interactive data entry and download options
What's not so great: Gets expensive, with added charges for extra states and e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hope is a plan!

Could not have done my return involving retired income, two small businesses and a rental property without the help provided! The tax law for a family making over 150K, because of the phase outs, percentage limits, AMTs, etc., is fiendishly incomprehensible. Thank you for doing the computations, selecting the right forms, incorporating documents from other sources, steering me to tax savings methods and, hopefully, keeping me out of jail due to oversight or lack of comprehension. I honestly try to pay what is due Caesar but the Congress and IRS have made it so complex I have to hope Turbo Tax is correct. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it! I have used TT for years and have been very pleased with the improvements.
What's great about it: Takes work and confusion out of the process.
What's not so great: Navigating still a bit confusing.
